Read on to learn my story.
I started the Do-Over Podcast because like so many of us, I spent years of my life creating stories and projecting my beliefs on circumstances which led to unnecessary suffering. I believe it’s our stories, our limiting beliefs, our thoughts (that are not facts), create the lens with which we see the world. Often, this lens makes us feel unhappy, lonely, empty.
I started to interrupt that unconscious way of being when I was exposed to books about the vastness of our spiritual nature, mindfulness, psychology and discovering who we are and why we are here. What started as listening and reading here and there became the pursuit of living by ideas that made me feel empowered and changing how I interacted with the world. The more I learned, the more I wanted to share with those around me. So, I was called to create a repository for the practices, principles, ideas, philosophies, and guidance that were helping me live with more ease, love and grace. That repository is the Do-Over Podcast and Newsletter Series.
There is so much out there in terms of self-help and spiritual principles, that it can be overwhelming to know what is authentic and resonant. This Podcast aims to present first principles in an easy-to-digest format that allows us to slowly shift our perspective to one which leads us to greater peace and intentionality. The lessons, principles and resources I share are not tied to any specific religion, teacher or philosophy – I curate them based on the following criteria:
Helpful - the ideas presented can help us improve our lives ( a.k.a live with more ease, peace)
Accessible and simple – Can be understood by anyone, no need for fancy degrees, years of religious study or spiritual upbringing
Authentic - the original wisdom came from the intention of service and purpose– not the ego’s need for recognition and status
Feel good - ideas that evoke joy, optimism, resilience, possibility
My intention is for this podcast to spark an opening to see possibility and freedom and forge our own path to a life led by love, peace, gratitude, wonder and awe. Thanks for listening. I welcome your feedback.
